Mahapolice Bharti 2016 for Second Class Master and First Class Engine Driver
Commissioner State Intelligence Department Maharashtra State, Mumbai invites online application for the posts of Second Class Master and First Class Engine driver on contract basis for operation and manning of the Police Speed Boats belonging to Police Coastal Districts. Candidate should be physically & mentally fit for Police Speed Boats Patrolling.
1) Second Class Master
Qualification & Experience – Candidate should
have Certificate of Competency as Second Class Masters or Navigation Watch
Keeping Officer (NWKO) Near Coastal Voyage (NCV) or Higher Certificate of Competency
awarded by the D.G. of Shipping, Govt. of India or Ex-servicemen from Indian
Navy/Coast Guard
2) First Class Engine Driver
Qualification & Experience – Candidate
should have First Class Engine Driver Certificate or possess Sea Going Engine
Driver Certificate as marine Engineer Officer (MEO) Class IV Near Coastal
Voyage or higher certificate of competency awarded by D.G. of shipping, Govt.
of India or Ex-servicemen from Indian Navy/Coast Guard having appropriate experience
of repairs and maintenance of Boats.
Pay Scale – for both post honorarium of Rs.25, 000/- p.m.
Contract period – The contract period would be up to only 11 moth, or till the date on which regular appointments will be made on these posts whichever is earlier.
Selection procedure -
Candidate selection will be depending on their practical and interview
conducted by a selection committee under the Chairmanship of commissioner,
State Intelligence Department Maharashtra State, Mumbai – 400001.
